I recommend you first check out the "Fin de La Michát" page first, since this is spoilers to that.

(Introduction)

Michatism (also refered to as Monzvergian Monarchism or Michourism) is the ideology based of the ideal that the reigning Rashad (title for supreme Monzvergian leader) has the right to absolute power, so long as civilians' rights are not obstructed or removed. Michatism is based off The Michate Doctrine (see below). The reigning Rashad (Usually a Michour) is required to learn and memorise the doctrine's principles.

The Michate Monarchy

The Michate Monarchy is the current governing body in Monzverg. The Michate Monarchy began in 1092 and ended in 1960, before returning in ~1996 to reclaim the throne with Adamistán. The current ruler of the Michate is Michou XV

The birth of the Michate Monarchy

The Michate (Michour) was created with the birth of Chárne Michour in 1092. His father (Richair Michar III), a part of the Micharate (Not to be confused with the Michate) (Abyssinian colony settlers with the goal of extracting Monzvergian supplies and benefiting Abyssinia) believing that splitting the kingdom would bring more economic profit to their coloniser, Abyssinia. When Michar III died in 1114, Michour inherited the east and Honsom Michar IV inherited the west. Michour I, naturally ambitious (especially because of his young age) decided it was necessary to convert to Islam to gain the support of local arabo-muslim rulers. In 1116 he reached mecca and converted while doing his pilgrimage there. When he returned in 1118, he was ridiculed by the Micharate. The Micharate later prepares for war, under fear that the Michate will eventually do its own (Honsom, the leader of the Micharate and Chárne Michour's brother, knows his brother very well, and so he assumes it). This leads to "the Schism"

The Schism

Honsom declares war on Chárne with the goal of restoring Monzvergian unity under christ (but also because of the fact Chárne sounds a bit too radical towards Honsom's slave-farmers, and honsom doesn't like it.). So after a long and fierce 2 year war, Chárne wins after conquering Khanuj Rag (Aka the capital) and the Micharate collapses.

The Michate Doctrine

Now, this is the most important part.

The Michate doctrine is the "bible" for Michatists (except not religious). It's the ultimate guidebook for ruling Monzverg, originally written by Michour I in 1149 but eventually compiled and updated by multiple other succeding Rashads. The biggest update to the Michate doctrine came in 1782, which is the "Michate Princip". Within it are two things; Worker's constitution, and Corporates' constitution. These were created by Michour VII to process the industrial revolution better without casualties. The final biggest update came from Michour XV in 1992(ish). This was during the Fin de la Michát stage.

XV's goal was to rewrite the Michate doctrine despite the fact the fragments for it were burned in 1960. He recreated it at age 17 and with it, his new manifesto which is now printed with the doctrine. The Michate doctrine has (usually) 1500 pages. The original doctrine along with its minor updates and changes (pge 0-910), the Michate Princip (WC, CC)(911-1143 pages) and finally, Michour XV's manifesto, shockingly longer than the Princip, (1144-1500 pages). Damn.

Photo of the doctrine's front cover

On the top, it reads "Written by Michour i & VII, Rewritten and updated by Michour XVth (RECENTLY)"

The intricate designs on the top right represent the communist nature of the south throughout the "Fin De La Michát"(seen through the appearance of sicles and hammers).

The top-center displays a locket. On the top of it is written Michât (representing the Michate in general) and within the locket, the left squares (crescent and star) represent Monzvergians, while the right squares represent Aragbians (sun and sword).

The Intricate designs on the left represent the north, though there aren't any images displayed that showcase that.

under the locket is a traditional Monzvergian musket with a crescent bayonet. The two pairs of flags represent the two major regions (as seen before). The North (the flags to the right (this time)) and the South (the flags to the left). The right flags have the modern Monzvergian flag paired with the Michate flag, while the left flags have the hammer and sickle flag along with the traditional Aragbian (or Ninzian) flag.

Under the musket, the words" The Michate Doctrine " appear. Under that, "1149 & 1992" representing the two major years of the doctrine (1149, the writing and 1992, the rewriting). Under that, in roman numerals (MCXLIX & MCMXCII), the same numbers appear.

Under that, the words "1500 pages AND 843 years" appear. 1500 pages within the doctrine and 843 years being the lifespan of the doctrine.

Under that;

  • "910 pages= 0,-910- The Michate doctrine (Michour I, II46)"
  • "232 pages= 911,-1143- The Michate Principles (WC,CC) (Michour VII, 1782)"
  • "450 pages= 1144-1500- Michou XV Manifesto (talismain(1996)(1996)
  • The word "talismain" is Monzvergian for "Victorious".

To the right of the whole title, the words "Cover drawn by Mohamed Ahmed Ar-Rashid" appear. That's the illustrator. A known Monzvergian Michatist artist responsible for many propaganda posters.

The words "PRINTED BY COTIC ©, hardurai store" appear right under.

Right under that, "Distributed by her, Monzvergia.", the government organisation responsible for the distribution of Government works.

    Now, For Flags

    This is the Michate's flag.

    This is the Micharate's flag.

The Michate's flag was in unison with the Micharate's until the schism. The blue represents the ocean, the red representing blood through work. The Micharate version (the cross) represents the christianity within the Monzvergian colony. As for the Michate, the crescent used is a common Monzvergian symbol. It's the Michate's way of saying "Hey this flag's Monzvergian". The 5-pointed star represents two possible things; one, which is Islam. Or two, which is the 5 states that were apart of the Michate that held their loyalty to the Rashad during the schism. There is no way of knowing since this is lost to time (or I can't choose which ;D )
